About iCLOC
iCLOC or Covenant Life On-line Community, was started in the spring of 2009 as new, fun, meaningful, and interactive way of worshiping God with live,
web-based iWorship sessions. iCLOC removes the age old barrier between the
pulpit and the pew and gives each viewer direct and real-time access to a
minister during each iWorship session. Viewers are able to ask questions and
make comments during iWorship which shape and determine the direction of each iWorship session. This is similar to the original Christian church
model where early believers would meet house to house and interact with each
other. iCLOC attempts to follow that model with just a little added 21st century technology. The technology component of iCLOC allows Christians from different cities, states, and nations to simultaneously interact and worship God together.

About Pastor Andrew Wittman
Andrew Wittman is the Senior Pastor and resident biblical expert at Covenant Life On-line Community. As the son of missionaries, Andrew grew up on the mission field and in The Word, literally. His father, a Greek scholar, educated Andrew in studying the original Greek text of the New Testament and the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. After graduating high school, Andrew enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in multiple theatres of war. Upon leaving active duty, Andrew began a career in law enforcement and eventually arose to the ranks of the Capitol Police in Washington D.C. Andrew served as lead security detail for Congressional leaders such as Nancy Pelosi, Joe Lieberman, Tom Daschle, Trent Lott, Pat Leahy, and Hillary Clinton. After many years of serving our country and our communities, Andrew moved his family back to Greer, SC to start Covenant Life Outreach Church. After over 4 years of leading a traditional church, Andrew and his board of directors decided to take the leap into cyberspace by transitioning into Covenant Life On-line Community. Andrew is married to Kim and they have 3 beautiful children named Drew, Jack, and Michaela.
About Doug Brown, host of iWorship
Doug Brown is the host of the ever growing and increasingly popular iWorship. Doug went to Clemson University and graduated with a degree in marketing and communications. During his time at Clemson, he had several experiences with radio that ignited the passion Doug has for media and its power to reach people. Doug came to Covenant Life Outreach Church in the summer of 2007 at the invitation of his dear friend Jennings Lyon. Doug and his wife Beth, found what they were looking for: a church and a pastor that understood the original text of the Bible and could help relate the message to real life beyond Sunday morning. When Covenant Life On-line Community was born, Doug saw the perfect opportunity to combine his skills and passion to serve God at the same time. Doug and Beth Brown have been married for 3 years, no children yet but they do have 2 wonderful dogs named Kosmo and Roxy. |
