Manna Art Ministering the ‘Word’ though art. Kevin is working to bring the ‘ARTS’ back into the church. He paints during times of worship , seeking to draw close to the place where there can be an intimate glimpse into the beauty of God’s heart. The process of ‘awakening’ into that moment of recognition is part of what is beautiful and touching about his art. Seeing the canvas being filled with a deepening sense of that moment creates another dimensional layer which helps to unveil more of what God is doing in the meeting for those watching it ‘expose’. Far from merely entertaining or distracting Kevin sees the arts as playing a fundamental role in the plans of God for the restoration of the church. Creating beauty opens the heart to the deepest possibilities of union with our creator and helps us enter in to the realms of the sublime. Kevin has painted well over two hundred images during worship at different worship meetings nationally and is seeking to develop a school for the prophetic arts. He and his wife Claire now reside in Wallingford, Vt. and are associated with the Rutland City Prayer & Worship Ctr. Partners in Transformation.

If you have missed Kevin in action then you had better find out where he is going to be and get there ! You can find his prints in more locations but the anointing of his art-in-action as worship and intercession is what imparts to the canvas. The atmosphere of the Presence of God is tangibly altered when this part of worship comes into the greater context of combined worship anointings. I feel the absence when he is not with us in a meeting the same as when I feel the absence of the dance ministry and other key worship anointings.

The key word with Kevin's work and images is 'anointing'. Sometimes as he breaks through in a particular place in the painting in and by the Spirit of the Lord, the spiritual dynamic in the room follows. I had ane experience where the whole history of a series of meetings spiritually, including the anointings and warfare, was manifest in the layers upon layers of work on the canvas. I bought that painting. Some time later, when several of us were interceding at my home I was retelling the spiritual history of the painting / event. I touched it. Now I touch to dust it from time to time but that night live jolts of power filled my body. Immediately, all were hit with the power of God for another two hours in power manifestations and intercessions.

Kevin is not a studio artist. Together with his wife/ ministry partner, Claire, he is a forerunner in prophetic painting as part of live worship. Friendly and willing to answer questions in the middle of it all, he has the discipline to immerse himself in the Presence of the Lord and stay there as long as it takes. I believe we are in a day when the body to be all we can be, for the glory of the Lord to fill the temple (us), that as the body we must function with all that God has placed within us. Prophetic art is essential. Like I said don't miss him.

ART AS WORSHIP

While working in pastels, creating images during worship since 1997, Manna Art has sought to bring His images to the body. As a response to what I believe is truly on His Heart in this season, we seek to reclaim the ARTS for the King & the Kingdom. Seeking to remain scriptural sound, while moving in the freedom of His Spirit. Intimacy creates inspiration. We must choose to take action, our considered yes, of moving into a contemplative prayer which sets into motion the power of the Spirit to initiate His action of impregnating the prayer. The result of contemplative prayer is the receiving of the seed. With that seed we must identify the task that is generated by the germination of the seed. It is then up to us to take action and respond to the impact the seed has with us. Then return & make a report to the Father what you\'ve done with the seed that He has given you. He then pulls you back into Himself - back into intimacy with Him. Luke 10. Out of the over flow of His heart the cycle continues.
